ADRI is a shortfilm written and directed by Estibaliz Urresola Solaguren where I collaborated making some visual effects.
The film was selected for international festivals (such as the Brussels Short Film Festival, Rafi Peer International Film Festival, Festival Internacional de Cine UNAM, Independent Days Filmfest, European Short Film Festival, Gaudi Awards, and more! ). Also it was nominated and/also was finalist in festivals like Cinemad.
Personally I’m glad to have worked with this very nice crew and I hope the shortfilm will go further this new year!
Sinopsis:
After years of hard training in swimming, Adri is on the doors of the regional championships when, just two days before, her period comes for the first time.
Since the death of her mother four years ago, Adri sees herself subjugated to the enthusiasm her father projects on this competition and the pressure from his coach who sees in Adri a firm candidate to qualify.
With all that, Adri hides the event that transforms her from child to woman, and endangers her participation, forcing her to find on her own the answers to all the question that haunt her.
